As part of a drive to better manage contractors in the new health and safety environment, a number of Waikato and Bay of Plenty councils have launched an online initiative that uses simple software by SHE to capture its contractors’ health and safety management systems and insurance details, enabling them to pre-qualify for work with councils participating in the scheme.


PREQUAL is an independently managed service developed in 2011 as a joint initiative between IMPAC and a group of New Zealand businesses to address industry concerns with approaches to contractor pre-qualification and deliver a comprehensive service that adds value to the overall contractor management process.


Established in 2001, ISNetworld is an online contractor and supplier information management platform of data-driven products and services that help manage risk and strengthen relationships. It helps reduce unnecessary duplication associated with traditional qualification processes.
